The Village of Pentwater is seeking to fill two part-time marina attendants.
The positions begin on April 29th and ends on October 15th.
The Applicants should be comfortable working on computers.
Duties include cleaning, assisting boaters in docking boats, and doing general lawn work.
Marina attendants are required to be able to lift heavy items.

Pentwater Police Department is accepting applications for Public Safety Officers. PSO Officers fill a variety of public service roles, including but not limited to; parking enforcement, traffic control at special events, marina attendant, and code enforcement.
The opportunity to be a Public Safety Officer is an excellent way to explore a carrier in law enforcement.
Successful applicants should be at least 18 years old, have a valid Michigan Drivers License (a cycle endorsement is preferred), and have no criminal history. Applicant must submit to a background investigation.
Starting pay is $15 an hour, with a flexible work schedule. Some weekends required. Applicants will receive 24 hours of job-related training.

Public notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Village of Pentwater will hold a public hearing at the Park Place, 310 North Rush Street, Pentwater, Michigan, on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at 6:15pm.
The public hearing is for the purpose of considering comments regarding proposed amendments to the Village Zoning Ordinance, in accordance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 12 of 2008), as amended. The amendments to the Zoning Ordinance would amend Section 21.09 which concerns signs in Residential Districts. The proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance would reduce the side setback of signs from 15 feet to 10 feet.
The proposed amendment is available for public inspection at the Village Hall, 65 South Hancock Street, Pentwater, Michigan, during the Village’s normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any resident or property owner may participate in the hearing or submit written comments regarding the proposed amendment to the Planning Commission prior to Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
