Residents/Visitors > Welcome Visitors
There are adventures around every corner of our small town and we hope you enjoy your experience while you are here.
The sandy shores of Lake Michigan is just a stones throw from downtown and opens up a world of relaxation, swimming, beach sports, kite flying and gorgeous views. Both the Charles Mears State Park and Channel Lake Park gain you access to Lake Michigan, with both having amenities to make the day memorable.
There are no shortages in places to stay in Pentwater during your visit. We have you covered if you want to camp out, enjoy the view on the water or be in the heart of downtown. There are many rental cottages, condos, a classic motel, and campgrounds scattered throughout and surrounding the Village. To see a list of accommodating places to stay, please visit the Stay Tab on the Pentwater Chamber page.
Though small, one thing our community doesn't lack is a place to enjoy a good meal. There are restaurants scattered throughout town with the ice cream shops being a summer favorite, however, we have you covered for just about any craving. Our town is loaded with restaurants that serve sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, pasta dishes, steaks and of course, fish. We also have you taken care of for breakfast and brunch. For a list of the local cafes, ice cream shops, and restaurants, please visit the Food and Drink on the Pentwater Chamber page.
